Brown (billed as "Special Guest Star Joe E. Brown"), and Basil Rathbone NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the art on this poster has many times been falsely attributed to poster artist Reynold Brown (and also the art on the "Pit and the Pendulum" posters) on several websites (including ours!). However, a collector has now informed us the actual artist is Fred Fixler (born Nandor Lipschitz), who was a successful Hungarian illustrator, and that artist has the original art from his posters for both these movies on his website. Since none of his poster art was signed, he could also have created several other posters that have been mistakenly credited as Reynold Brown art, and this could help solve the mystery of the artist whose work looks like Reynold Brown, but isn't Reynold Brown! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has light fold and border wear and some light scuffing in a few portions of the darker-colored areas of the background. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
