Sky-Highest Smile-Wildest Wild'n Wooiest Musical of them all!") starring Doris Day (in the title role as Calamity Jane), Howard Keel (as Wild Bill Hickok), Allyn Ann McLerie (billed as "Allyn McLerie"), Philip Carey, Dick Wesson, and Chubby Johnson (as Rattlesnake) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43". Condition: very good. This poster has one of the odder printing defects I have ever seen! It appears that the poster got caught in the printing press while it was running through, and the area of the poster in the middle left by the credits kind of folded over itself and caused the two stars' names to be kind of jumbled! The paper is flat in that area, and I have no idea how this might have happened, and I have never seen anything quite like it before. Otherwise, the poster had tiny paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds, minor fold wear, some pinholes in the corners, and small paper loss in the bottom right corner. There was paper loss near the middle of the right blank border, and some light red staining below it, but the staining appears to be a minor printing defect. Overall, other than the printing defect described above, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great, but please do not bid on this poster unless you have read the above carefully, and can accept the unusual printing defect this poster has!
