An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Conquerors, the 1932 William A. Wellman winning-of-the-West western romantic melodrama ("Out of the smoke of its chimneys... Out of the sweat of its fields... Out of the faith of its people... has come America!"; "Lovers! ...their hearts beat to the rhythm of an Empire in creation!"; "A story written with conqueror's blood... red, white and blue blood!"; about newlyweds on the east coast who go west to begin their life together and they end up creating a banking empire) starring Richard Dix, Ann Harding, Edna May Oliver, Guy Kibbee, and Julie Haydon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned four lobby cards from this movie, but we have never before auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card had pinholes around the edges and a few in the bottom center of the image. It had some creases across the top edge of the top border, and some in the rest of the borders, with a few small tears. It had a diagonal piece separated in the bottom left corner, just touching the edge of the corner of the image. Someone re-attached that piece and performed some slight restoration to the other defects, but did not back the card (see our images of the front and back of the card).
