A French Art Print (with art by Misti; unnumbered; measures 11" x 15 1/2" [28 x 39 cm]) (Learn More)

Maitres de l'Affiche (literally translates to "Masters of the Poster"), one of the 1885 - 1900 French art print sets created during the Belle Epoque in Paris, France. The prints were reproduced from the original works of ninety-seven artists, and was put together by Jules Cheret, often known as the Father of Poster Art. The varied selection of prints were sold in packages of four and delivered monthly to subscribers. On sixteen occasions, the monthly package included a bonus of a specially created lithograph.

Important Added Info: Note that Ferdinand Mifliez (better known as Misti) was a French artist from the 1890s to the 1920s. Many of his posters were created to advertise bicycles or automobiles.

Note that, as described above, this is an original 1895 French art print! There is a faint embossed seal in the bottom right corner, which helps guarantee it is authentic.
