An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Last Mile, the 1932 Samuel Bischoff prison escape murder crime thriller ("From the play that rocked the nation by John Wexley"; much like the much later TV series "The Fugitive", an innocent man is found guilty of the murder of his business partner, and he is sentenced to death row, and his friends try to prove him innocent, but just before he is to be executed, a brutal inmate leads a prison riot, and almost everyone is killed, but the prison officials tell the few remaining convicts that evidence has been found to prove the man innocent, and the inmate leader of the riot walks into the police bullets, effectively committing suicide!) starring Howard Phillips, Preston Foster, Noel Madison, George E. Stone, Alan Roscoe, and Paul Fix. Note that this movie starred Preston Foster as the brutal inmate "Killer" Mears. When the movie was remade in 1959, Mickey Rooney took that same role, and it is hard to see why he wanted to fill Preston Foster's shoes! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. There are a few tiny tears, pinholes, and a few extremely tiny areas of paper loss in the blank borders, but the card is otherwise in nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
