Date Sold 3/5/2020Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. Edison, The Man, the 1940 Clarence Brown historical biographical melodrama sequel ("Spencer Tracy's Greatest Performance"; about the recollections of the famous inventor Thomas Edison; a sequel of sorts to "Young Tom Edison", and of course, highly fictionalized) starring Spencer Tracy (in the title role as Thomas Edison; "His Greatest performance! Thrilling! Dramatic!"), Rita Johnson, Lynne Overman, Charles Coburn, Gene Lockhart, Henry Travers, and Felix Bressart NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The card was in a bound volume and it was very neatly (and very slightly) trimmed on its top, right, and bottom borders. When it was removed from the bound volume roughly, there was a jagged edge down the left blank border, along with tiny holes from where it was bound. Someone put tape on the back of that area and performed restoration to the tiny tears and tiny holes, but it is still noticeable, but it only affects blank white paper. The card measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4", so it was only a small amount of each blank border that was trimmed. The image area is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
