Barton monster horror spoof comedy ("It's a grand New idea for Fun!"; the eighth Universal Frankenstein movie, and this time they added their #1 comedy team to both liven up the series, and to inject comedy; many people fondly remember this as their favorite of the 1940s Frankenstein movies!; "Jeepers! The Creepers are after Bud and Lou!"; "The laughs are MONSTERous! Bud and Lou are in a stew when they tangle with the Titans of Terror!"; "The monsters of menace vs the masters of Mirth!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Lon Chaney Jr. ("The Wolf Man played by Lon Chaney"), Bela Lugosi (returning as Dracula after being long absent from the role; "Dracula played by Bela Lugosi"), Glenn Strange (in the title role, playing the Frankenstein monster; "The Monster played by Glenn Strange"), Lenore Aubert, Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson, Charles Bradstreet, and Vincent Price (in a cute cameo, as the voice of The Invisible Man at the end of the movie!) Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a completely different image to that of the first release one-sheet! Just about every collector agrees that this poster has a superior image to the 1948 one-sheet, which had smaller cartoony images. Condition: good. The poster has tiny paper loss at the top two crossfolds and some light partial horizontal creases in the top and bottom, where the poster was likely roughly handled while it was rolled, and there are also some creases scattered throughout the image. There is a slightly diagonal crease just to the left of the vertical fold from the top crossfold to the middle crossfold. There are pieces of tape on the back of each corner and on the back of the center of each border, and those bled through to the front. Obviously, this poster can be restored, and it will display great after proper restoration, but bear in mind its defects (and look at our super-sized image) before bidding on it.
