An Original Undated (probably 1960s) Vintage 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Still (Learn More) Roy Rogers (born Leonard Slye, often referred to as the "King of the Cowboys") is considered one of the all-time top singing cowboy western actors (he started in movies in the 1930s and worked in film until the 1950s, often with The Sons of the Pioneers, and comedy sidekicks including Gabby Hayes and Andy Devine; in 1951, he transitioned to television and had a very successful TV show for six seasons) and was nearly always accompanied by his equally famous horse, Trigger. He had many female co-stars until he starred with Dale Evans, and they married, and remained married for over 50 years! He passed away in 1998 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] and is undated. It is definitely vintage, but it does not appear to be older than the 1960s. If anyone knows more about this still, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this still has a FACSIMILE autograph that is within the printing of the still (the still has NOT been personally autographed). Condition: good to very good.
