An Original Vintage Linenbacked French Magazine Cover (measures 9 1/4" x 12 1/4") (Learn More)

Folies De Paris et De Hollywood (literally translates to "Folies of Paris and Hollywood"), the French "men's" magazine that was published in the 1950s and 1960s (at least). Each issue had illustrated stories about sexy "actresses" (or would-be actresses) and strippers. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. Someone took the cover of the magazine only and linenbacked it. There was printing on the reverse, which unevenly showed through to the front, especially in the center of the girl's face. There were creases and tiny tears around the edges. Overall, the magazine cover was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the magazine cover "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
