An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Manhattan Madness, the 1925 John McDermott silent New York City cowboy western melodrama (about a cowboy who travels to New York City, and finds it boring, until he is sent by his friends to a mysterious house where he fights with a gang of villains and rescues a mysterious woman he met, but it turns out the "villains" were actually hired to liven up his New York visit, and he marries the girl, who is played by Dempsey's real life wife, famous actress Estelle Taylor!) starring Jack Dempsey, Estelle Taylor, George Siegmann, Frank Campeau, and Bull Montana. Note that Jack Dempsey and Estelle Taylor were billed as "Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dempsey". Of course, Jack Dempsey was the heavyweight boxing champion of the world from 1919 to 1926, and was one of the most legendary boxers of all time. He appeared in just three movies while he was champ, and later appeared in cameo roles as himself. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
