In 1982, Mathis revealed he was gay in a radio interview, but then received death threats and talked no more about it for decades. Some of his hits include Wonderful! Wonderful!, It's Not For Me to Say, Chances Are, Misty, Venus, and When Sunny Gets Blue. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 85! Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Johnny Mathis! Note that our consignor is a longtime movie poster collector who for many years attended events where he would get celebrities to sign his items, and he would also mail them to celebrities along with fan letters, and they would return them signed. He and we believe the autograph is surely authentic, but he doesn't have a certificate of authenticity. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the back cover, and an interior 2-page spread from this program (it appears that this was a program book that was given away at a concert that Mr. Mathis gave). Condition: good. There is much scuffing and some stains on the cover and the first interior page (the one that Mathis signed is separated from the rest of the program).
