Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was surely trimmed, but we are not sure by exactly how much, because we have not had this poster before. Our best guess would be that it had a 1" blank border on the left and right and that both of those were trimmed off. Otherwise, it had creases and scuffs on the foldlines. There were two extra horizontal folds near the bottom of the poster and some creases and scuffs scattered throughout (see our image). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
