An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Sisters, the 1922 Albert Capellani silent romantic family relationship melodrama (based on the novel by Kathleen Norris; about two sisters and their many problems in life and romance) starring Seena Owen, Gladys Leslie, Mildred Arden, Frances Miller (a black African American actress who appeared in 20 movies between 1916 and 1930, but due to the stereotypes of the time, she mostly played maids named "Mammy"), and Matt Moore. Note that this movie has no relationship to the 1938 Bette Davis movie of the same name (they were taken from different source novels). Also note that Miss Miller was first billed as "Frances Miller", and then married, and became "Frances Miller Grant", and then later became simply "Frances Grant".
