Banned from marriage... Sentenced to prison for a crime she did not commit... ...and the guilty man goes free!"; "Based on a famous Tolstoy novel"; about a Russian peasant girl who is seduced and abandoned by a Prince, and she becomes a prostitute, and years later, she redeems herself by finding God, and she even forgives the man who caused her to fall so far) starring John Boles, Lupe Velez, Nance O'Neil, William Keighley, Rose Tapley, Michael Mark, Sylva Nadina, George Irving, Edward Cecil, and Grace Cunard. Note that a Spanish-language version of this movie was filmed at the same time, and Lupe Velez played the same character in both versions (but John Boles was replaced by Gilbert Roland). Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this window card, and the only other first release poster we have ever auctioned was a half-sheet, and that was ten years ago! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair to good. There are staple holes and many stains around the edges, with some stains scattered throughout the image and lots of stains at the right end of the title and at the bottom of the card.
