Superman: Smrtonosno Nasljede (literally translates to "Superman: Deadly Legacy"), the 1996 UNICEF DC comic book superhero war land mine safety education poster promoting awareness of the dangers of hidden landmines and unexploded ordnance and bombs, and featuring Garcia Lopez art of Superman flying in to rescue two children who are about to be hurt! Note that there are an estimated 110,000,000 landmines in the ground of 68 countries, and in many cases, the wars have long since ended, but because the landmines are still there, it is estimated that 800 people are killed every month by them, with around 30% to 40% of them children. Landmines can remain active for as long as 50 years, and it costs $300 to $1,000 to clear each one. Note that this really cool poster was printed in the U.S., but it was distributed in Bosnia and Herzegovina following the Bosnian War.
