The City That Never Sleeps, the 1924 James Cruze silent New York City Prohibition-era family relationship romantic crime thriller (about a widow with a young daughter whose husband is killed, and she opens a speakeasy, and she doesn't want her daughter to grow up in that life, so she puts her in the home of a rich family, and years later, the girl, now grown, starts frequenting the speakeasy, and she gets in big trouble and her mother, who she doesn't recognize, saves her, and they are reunited) starring Ricardo Cortez, Louise Dresser, Kathlyn Williams, Virginia Lee Corbin, Pierre Gendron, Jim Farley, Ben Hendricks Jr., and Vondell Darr. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned any 8x10 stills for this movie! Note also that we have pictured the backs of these stills (see our images). Note finally that the stills are glued to a linen-like backing (we think it is highly likely that these are key book stills, and that someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top or left of the still, no doubt so it could be put in a frame).

Condition: very good. The stills are in pretty nice condition!
