The Dolly Sisters, the 1945 Irving Cummings family relationship romantic fictional show business biography musical ("Together they set a world aflame with their song and dance... and broke a million hearts! Now it's all magnificently on the screen... romantically... gloriously!"; "Produced by George Jessel"; "Dances Staged by Seymour Felix"; "New Songs - Lyrics by Mack Gordon"; "Music by James Monaco"; filmed in 3-strip Technicolor; very loosely based on the lives of two Hungarian sisters, Jenny and Rosie Dolly, who became famous entertainers in the early 1900s) starring Betty Grable (in the title role as Yansci 'Jenny' Dolly), John Payne, June Haver (in the title role as Roszika 'Rosie' Dolly), S.Z. Sakall, Reginald Gardiner, Frank Latimore, Gene Sheldon, Sig Ruman, and Trudy Marshall.
