The close-up of Raft tells that the machinery used in the movie was borrowed from a real prison and the image of the man jumping explains that it is Raft's stunt double who jumped 48 feet from a window on to a canvas covered truck, and that photographer Scotty Wellbourne had to use a special camera with an f8 aperture to capture a good image of the stuns double falling!
