Note that this was a "thinking man's" western, with lots of clever twists and turns, and fine dialogue. This was one of the few westerns to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but incredibly sadly, it became water stained in the bottom center of the poster and in the bottom of the right border, with slight water staining in the lower left and right excess paper. I don't know if a restorer can correct this without re-backing the poster, so bear this in mind before placing a bid on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
