A 1958 Re-Release Unfolded Special Movie Poster (measures 30 1/2" x 239 1/2" [77 x 608 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the classic 1937 David Hand Walt Disney animated animation family romantic fairy-tale fantasy musical cartoon ("His first full length feature production"; "In the Marvelous Multiplane Technicolor"; "Behold The Miracle of the Movies! Coming to amaze you, charm you, thrill you!"; "With Eight new songs as catching as 'The Big Bad Wolf.'"; "To thrill you"; "Merriment!"; "Melody!"; "Magic!"; "The dwarfs sing their marching song on the way to work."; "Walt Disney's first full length feature production"; "The show sensation of the generation!"; "Wondrously filmed in all the glories of the marvelous multiplane Technicolor"; "The Screen's Supreme Thrill! 1,000 artists worked three years to give you this once-in-a-lifetime show!... A full hour and a half of the most enthralling entertainment you ever experienced... truly the miracle in motion pictures!") featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti (in the title role as Snow White), Harry Stockwell (as the Prince), Lucille La Verne, Moroni Olsen, and Stuart Buchanan. Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is almost certainly the WIDEST Snow White poster known to exist (it is 12 feet wide). It could be incredible at the top of a 12 foot long wall, perhaps at a preschool (the possibilities are endless). Note that the poster has small metal grommets inserted into the borders (see our image). This would allow it to be quickly and easily displayed by putting nails or tacks in the appropriate places on a wall, and then simply putting the grommets over the nails or tacks (and there would be no framing cost). Note that this special poster was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Also note that the theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). Condition: good. The poster was never folded. The theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). There is a very long horizontal tear at the top of Walt Disney's credit that was repaired with clear tape from the back. There are a few other tears that were repaired with tape and there are a few light stains scattered in the poster, with small tears and tiny paper loss in parts of the borders (more so in the right end of the poster). The poster could be displayed and enjoyed as it is. One could choose to restore it, but I don't think that really makes sense, but of course, it would be the new owner's choice.
