The man in black is waiting..."; "It's the second motion picture of its kind! It won't be the last!"; "The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting... A walking arsenal - he uncoils, strikes and kills!") starring Clint Eastwood (as Monco), Lee Van Cleef (as Col. Mortimer), Gian Maria Volonte, Mara Krupp (billed as "Mara Krup"), Luigi Pistilli, Klaus Kinski (as Juan Wild, the Hunchback), Joseph Egger (billed as "Josef Egger"), Panos Papadopulos, Benito Steffanelli, Roberto Camardiel, Aldo Sambrell, Luis Rodriguez, and Mario Brega. Note that this movie was released in December of 1965 (no doubt to qualify for awards), but most of the Italian posters from the first release are dated 1966. This same situation exists with La Dolce Vita and many other classic movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: UPDATED 01/28/2020: Note that our consignor initially only sent us 7 English Front of House lobby cards, when he meant to send a complete set of 8. We have now received the 8th card and have updated the auction (and the image of the cards) accordingly. We have only auctioned a complete set of these FOH lobby cards 3 times (and the last set sold for $105 in 2017 and was in lesser Condition when compared to this set). Condition: very good. Each has a few minor creases in a few areas (mainly around the edges). The one pictured third at left has some tiny dot staining in portions of the borders and the one with Van Cleef holding the small bottle has a light paperclip compression mark at upper left.
