An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Alfred and Lenore were a duo of entertainers (likely dancers) from the 1940s (at least). If anyone knows more about them, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Alfred and Lenore (but it is extremely possible that one of them signed for both of them! Our consignor's father in law was a "mobster" (named "Tony") in the 1940s and 1950s, and he obtained these autographs from performers at clubs he visited (and they are personalized to him). Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. I also have photos of all of them sitting at their tables eating and drinking--but I choose not to share those things for privacy.
