An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Movie Key Book Still (Learn More)

Secret of the Whistler, the 1946 George Sherman mystery crime thriller (from the CBS radio show; "Suggested by The Columbia Broadcasting System Program"; "The 'Whistler's' greatest love murder!"; "He began by killing for love and ended by loving to kill!"; "He learned to kill... in two uneasy lessons!"; sixth of eight in this popular series of movies; about an artist who is married to a wealthy woman but falls in love with one of his models and must find a way to get rid of his wife but keep her money!) starring Richard Dix, Leslie Brooks, Michael Duane, Mary Currier, and Otto Forrest (as the voice of The Whistler)

Important Added Info: Note that this still is printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock (we think it is highly likely this was a key book still, and that someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the still, no doubt so it could be put in a frame).

Note that this still has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has "TRR" running down the center. One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that the still (and many others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of the stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us!

Condition: very good. The left 1" was unevenly trimmed off (see above). Otherwise, the still is in nice condition!
