An Original Vintage Theatrical French Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 8 1/2" x 12 1/4" [22 x 31 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) Zane Grey's Nevada, the 1927 John Waters silent romantic love triangle cowboy western melodrama ("From the novel by Zane Grey"; about a pair of cattle rustlers who want to go straight, but one gets involved with the sister of the man they work for, and there are other problems too!) starring Gary Cooper (in the title role as Nevada), Thelma Todd (in her third credited movie role!), William Powell (in one of his early silent roles, playing a "heavy", before he became a top star once he made talking pictures and people heard his wonderful voice), Phillip Strange, and Ernie Adams NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Marc Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook may have been removed from a large French exhibitor manual for this year, both because it has a number in the top right corner and because it has slight surface paper loss at the back of the spine. However, it IS the complete pressbook, which does show poster images from this movie, and it would only be that it was also included in an exhibitor book in addition to being printed separately as a pressbook. Also note that we have never before auctioned this French pressbook! Condition: fair to good, NO CUTS.
