Tanner English stage play musical production (of the work by Owen Hall, Harry Greenbank and Sidney Jones) staring Marie Tempest, Florence Perry, Hayden Coffin, Letty Lind, Leonora Braham, Eric Lewis, Maurice Farkoa, Marie Studholme, and Louie Pounds. It was held at Daly's Theatre in London, England. Artist: Julius Price Important Added Info: Note that the image taken from this poster is from a French "plate" by Jules Cheret (the father of modern poster art) from the set called "Les Maitres de l'Affiche" (Masters of the Poster), which contained 256 plates. The set included works by 97 different artists (including Julius Price). These prints were sold in packages of four and delivered monthly to subscribers, sometimes including a bonus plate. This poster is of course much larger than the original plates and likely dates from the 1960s or 1970s (and is likely a commercial print). Condition: good to very good. The poster has some slight discoloration along portions of the lower edge and some glue staining on back at upper center that slightly bleeds through to the front.
