Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven, the classic 1935 Lew Landers (billed as "Louis Friedlander") Universal horror thriller ("An adaption of Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven"; VERY loosely based on the famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe; about a crazy plastic surgeon who saves a girl's life, but is rejected by her so he mutilates the face of a criminal to have him kidnap the girl after which he promises to restore the criminal's face!) starring Boris Karloff ("The uncanny master of make-up in a new amazing shocker"), Bela Lugosi (billed as "Bela 'Dracula' Lugosi"), Irene Ware, Lester Matthews, Inez Courtney, Samuel S. Hinds, Ian Wolfe, Spencer Charters, Maidel Turner, and Arthur Hoyt

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this 1949 re-release lobby card, and the last one was 7 years ago!

Note that this card was printed with an NSS number of "48/1057". It was stamped over that area with "48/1051", which seems likely to have been a changed NSS number. This is an original 1949 re-release card and there was some kind of mix up on the NSS number that caused this to happen. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There was tape on the back of the upper left and it was roughly removed, causing a large area of surface paper loss on the back of the card, but it has little effect on the front. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
