An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Red Wagon, the 1933 (released in the U.S. in 1936) Paul L. Stein English/U.S. romantic love triangle circus melodrama ("Lady Eleanor Smith's Great Epic of the Circus"; based on the novel by Eleanor Smith; about the owner of a traveling circus, and his romantic involvement with two women) starring Charles Bickford, Raquel Torres, Greta Nissen, Anthony Bushell, and Don Alvarado. Note that this movie had a bigger budget than most circus movies of this time, and it was recently re-released on DVD. Note too that Greta Nissen, who had often played "bad" women in movies here played the "good" woman. She is likely best remembered by film buffs for being cast in "Hell's Angels", but then being replaced at the last minute by Jean Harlow! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
