An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Night Passage, the 1957 James Neilson family relationship cowboy western ("The saga of the McLaine brothers and the savage fury of their blood feud!"; "This was the night when naked fury flamed out across the land!"; "...when the McLaine Brothers crossed trails - and neither friend, nor law, nor woman's love could stop the showdown!"; "The first motion picture filmed in TECHNIRAMA the ultimate in photographic excellence!") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Audie Murphy, Dan Duryea, Dianne Foster, Elaine Stewart, Brandon DeWilde ("as Joey"), Jay C. Flippen, and Hugh Beaumont. Note that the producers of this movie were obviously hoping that some of the magic of "Shane" would rub off on this movie, because they not only cast Brandon De Wilde in it, but they gave his character the same name he had in Shane, "Joey"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had two small areas of paper loss 2" to the left and right of the middle crossfold and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold. It had minor wear on the foldlines and the top and bottom borders had been folded back. It had stains and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
