An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 9 1/2" [21 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Donald O'Connor was an actor from the 1930s to the 2000s. He started as a juvenile actor in the late 1930s, and then was paired with Gloria Jean by Universal in an attempt to make musicals similar to MGM's featuring Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney. He continued as a popular musical actor throughout the 1940s, and in 1952, he had probably his greatest role in Singin' in the Rain, especially his "Make 'em Laugh" number! In the 1940s and 1950s, he was the star of the popular "Francis the Talking Mule" series of movies. Some of his other movies include: Out to Sea, That Funny Feeling, and Yes Sir, That's My Baby. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from when Donald O'Connor was appearing as Huckleberry Finn in 1938's "Tom Sawyer, Detective"! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 9 1/2" [21 x 24 cm]. Condition: good. The still has unevenly discolored, but it still displays pretty well. Learn More about condition grades
