Charlie McCarthy, Detective, the 1939 Frank Tuttle ventriloquist newspaper journalism reporter murder mystery crime screwball comedy ("Original story by Robertson White and Darrell Ware"; about a newspaper editor and a mobster who are murdered, and a reporter is suspected, and another reporter asks his friend Edgar Bergen to solve the murder, with "help" from his dummy Charlie McCarthy!) starring Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy (who wears a Sherlock Holmes-like outfit, including hat, throughout the movie!), Mortimer Snerd, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), Constance Moore, John Sutton, Louis Calhern, Edgar Kennedy, Warren Hymer, Samuel S. Hinds, Harold Huber, and Ray Turner

Condition: very good. There is small paper loss in two blank corners and creases in the other two. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition! There is a piece of paper tape on the back of the center of the top border, but it was not put there for any restoration purpose.
