Important Added Info: UPDATED 12/06/2017: Note that a knowledgeable collector informed us that this is a Swiss poster, and we have updated the auction accordingly. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was folded and had creases and scuffs along many of the folds, with slight darkening on parts of the folds. It had some tiny pinholes around the edges. It is possible it was trimmed from a larger size, but, as noted above, we have no idea what that larger size would be, and no poster from this movie we have seen has this art. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
