An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Ace of the Saddle, the 1919 John Ford (billed as "Jack Ford") silent Arizona cowboy western ("It's a Universal Picture"; "From the story by Frederic J. Jackson"; about a cattleman fighting rustlers, and rather than helping him, the sheriff is in league with the rustlers) starring Harry Carey Sr., Joe Harris, Duke R. Lee, Peggy Pearce, Jack Walters, and Vester Pegg. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good. There is staining around the black border areas and some slight smudging on the glass over the image area. Learn More about condition grades
