The Royal Family of Broadway, the 1930 George Cukor & Cyril Gardner New York City family relationship romantic theater stage acting comedy (apparently a satire of the famous Barrymore acting family) starring Ina Claire, Fredric March (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Mary Brian, Henrietta Crosman, and Charles Starrett

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and we have only auctioned two stills and two lobby cards for this film and no other movie paper or posters for it whatsoever! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster has four extra horizontal folds. It also has some light staining at the bottom of the title and in around the words "of Broadway". It has similar stains continuing down the lower left of the poster and a few in the bottom 3" of the poster. It has fine surface paper loss on the horizontal fold that runs through Mary Brian's face. It has two small pieces of tape on the back of border tears but otherwise has had no restoration. The poster is not fragile, which is a big plus. The above are the kinds of defects that respond well to restoration. After a relatively simple restoration the poster will display well, with little need for paint restoration.
