Pillars of the Sky (released in England as "Tomahawk and the Cross"), the 1956 George Marshall Oregon Native American Indian military cowboy western ("This was the night of the tomahawk and the cross!"; "Screenplay by Sam Rolfe"; based on the novel 'Frontier Fury' by Heck Allen) starring Jeff Chandler, Dorothy Malone, Ward Bond, Keith Andes, Lee Marvin, Sydney Chaplin, Floyd Simmons, and Michael Ansara. Note that both Chandler & Ansara were well- known for portraying Cochise.
