Mason Hopper romantic love triangle infidelity melodrama (a truly wild story of a down and out woman in love with an author, and she marries him, but after they marry, he starts gambling and gets in trouble, and she seeks solace by talking to her employer, and her husband catches them together and accuses them of committing adultery, calling her a "sister to Judas", but the man explains that while they DO love each other, it is not in the "vile" way the husband suggested; the couple divorces, but she stays on her own, and her husband goes to jail over a robbery he committed to cover his gambling debts, and the woman is about to marry her male friend, when she gets a message from her former husband, and she is so touched that her fiance convinces her to re-marry her husband instead!) starring Claire Windsor, Holmes Herbert, John Harron, David Callis, Wilfred Lucas, Lee Moran, and Stella Adams NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Note that this one-sheet measures 26 1/2" x 40 3/4". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Condition: very good to fine. There were tiny holes at the crossfolds that were expertly restored. There are tiny areas of surface paper loss in the horizontal crossfolds that result in tiny white dots that are visible on close inspection (any restorer could touch. Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed.
