FORD (COMPANY) FORD (COMPANY) billboard advertising poster OR search current auctions Auction History Result 3d061 FORD billboard '50s great art of pretty female switchboard operator, That's all I hear! Date Sold 12/18/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Tri-Folded Billboard Advertising Poster (measures approximately 9' x 20') (Learn More) Ford Motor Company is a multinational automaker from 1907 to the present. Ford was founded by Henry Ford and refined the moving assembly line concept to make cars more marketable to a middle-class market. Ford is currently the second largest U.S.-based automaker and fifth in the world! Artist: Al Moore Important Added Info: Note that this billboard poster was printed in 16 sections designed to overlap. Also note this poster was folded in a way that makes it resemble a tri-folded six-sheet (only much larger, of course, as there are more sections). But the length and width of the folded poster is just about the same as that of a folded six-sheet or three-sheet. This means that this poster needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which will measure roughly 16" x 38", and approximately 2" high, and it will cost more to send than a regular sized package. Condition: poor to fair. There are tears and areas of paper loss along many folds, especially to the left and right of the woman's head. There is staining and paper deterioration scattered throughout the poster. Please look at our super-sized image to get a sense of the exact condition of this poster, and do not bid on it thinking it is in better condition than it is. Still, it is surely an incredibly rare poster, and perhaps the only surviving example. One would prefer to find a much better condition one, but that might not be an option!
