Artist: Gunther Kieser Important Added Info: UPDATED 05/30/2013: Note that we have searched for more information about this poster on the internet, but we are unable to find anyone who seems to have the exact same poster. We have found a very similar poster that has the same image, but has added printed information at middle-left giving German concert information, and that version does not have the artist's name at middle-right. Since this poster is a German size, we wonder if some posters were created without concert information before the dates were set, or perhaps the posters like this without concert information were created after the tour was over. But the poster is clearly vintage, and we believe that it dates from that time. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the uncertainty about what purpose it was created for. UPDATED 05/30/2013: #2 We have received the following new information concerning this poster from a knowledgeable collector. "In the French book - Jazz, Pop, Rock - which was co-written with Alain Weill, a noted expert in the field and consultant to Swann Galleries, the exact poster you have is illustrated as an example of one of Keisers' works. Additionally, the size is a European spec for the actual concert posters. I would not be surprised to find that the image was used for other venues of the same tour." Condition: very good.
