Burnett"; about a "perfect robbery" with a team of top professionals, but of course, everything unravels, partially through double-crosses; perhaps the best movie of its kind!) starring Sterling Hayden, Louis Calhern, Jean Hagen, James Whitmore, Sam Jaffe (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), John McIntire, Marilyn Monroe, Marc Lawrence, Barry Kelley, Anthony Caruso, Teresa Celli, Brad Dexter, Don Haggerty, and Daniel Clarke NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that when this classic movie was first released in 1950, Marilyn Monroe was virtually unknown and so she received very low billing (but she WAS prominently pictured on the six-sheet, because she was so sexy!). But when she shot to stardom, this movie was re-released featuring Monroe, and she is top-billed on this poster! Also note that this poster was folded down the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. Condition: good. There is much masking tape on the back of the poster along the vertical fold and around the edges (apparently placed there mostly for reinforcement and to repair tack holes and tears around the edges). There are two pairs of staple holes at left that have been repaired with tape from the back and there are scuff marks and creases scattered throughout the poster. Learn More about condition grades
