Boston Blackie, the 1923 Scott R. Dunlap Massachusetts silent detective crime mystery thriller ("Adapted from the story 'The Water Cross' by Jack Boyle") starring William Russell (in the title role as Boston Blackie), Eva Novak, Frank Brownlee, Otto Matieson, W.C. Robinson, and Fred Esmelton. Note that this is one of ten silent movies made in the 1920s starring the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a reformed crook turned detective, which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. The character was revived in 1941 with Chester Morris playing Boston Blackie, and there were 14 movies in the 1940s. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: very good. One of the cards (the one with the guard staring at the couple) had some paper loss around the edges, and someone had the card paperbacked and the border repair was nicely done. Five of the other six cards had only minor wear and are in nice condition. One card had paper loss in the bottom right blank corner and someone performed restoration to that area.
