Artist: Glenn Cravath Important Added Info: Note that each of the chapters of this serial had a different inset photo, and this one has a great close up of both members of the Dynamic Duo in costume! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had 3" of separation at the bottom crossfold in each direction, and someone had put tape on the back of that area. There was also a 2" vertical tear below Batman's arm (in his cape). There was a 2" diagonal tear near the bottom center of the poster in the bricks of the wall. The poster had tiny bits of paper loss in the bottom corners. There is a small studio-issued snipe in the bottom border giving the copyright for "Nat'l Comics Pub. Inc.". Other than the above, the poster was in surprisingly nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
