An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) One, Two, Three, the 1961 Billy Wilder Germany communism screwball family relationship romantic comedy ("Billy Wilder's Explosive New Comedy"; "Comedy and action"; "This is Billy Wilder. He made 'The Apartment' & 'Some Like it Hot.' Now - His explosive new comedy, One, Two, Three"; about a Coca-Cola representative in West Berlin, who may be fired if he can't keep his American boss' daughter from marrying a communist!) starring James Cagney, Horst Buchholz, Pamela Tiffin, Arlene Francis (best remembered as the long time panelist from the TV game show "What's My Line?"), Howard St. John, Hanns Lothar, Liselotte Pulver (billed as "Lilo Pulver"), and Red Buttons NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Saul Bass Important Added Info: Note that director Billy Wilder was so popular after his hits "The Apartment" and "Some Like It Hot" that as part of United Artist's promotion for this movie, they devoted the entire six-sheet to an image of Billy Wilder (I can't remember another director who received such treatment, except possibly Erich von Stroheim or Alfred Hitchcock), and Saul Bass, who did the art for the other posters on this movie, designed this poster as well, and there is a prominent "DESIGN BY SAUL BASS" credit printed in the top left! Note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Also note this six-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with six-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded six-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", so they cost more to send than regularly folded six-sheets, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. Condition: very good. There is slight darkening and some fold and border wear, but overall, the poster is in pretty nice condition, and it is only tri-folded, so there are far fewer foldlines than with a regularly folded six-sheet. There is a tiny bit of staining in a border that does not show (because it is in the part that gets overlapped), so that doesn't matter at all! Learn More about condition grades
