Truman Capote was an American author, screenwriter, playwright, and actor from the 1940s to the 1980s. As least twenty films and television dramas have been produced of Capote novels, stories, and plays. His works include: Breakfast at Tiffany's, In Cold Blood, and House of Flowers. He passed away in 1984 at the age of 59.

Important Added Info: Note that this item (which is a hardcover of Capote's short story "The Thanksgiving Visitor" that is contained in a slipcase) has been personally autographed (signed) by Truman Capote on the second interior blank page (see our image). Our consignor has no certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to be authentic. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads.

Condition: good to very good. There are some slight stains on the slipcase. There is a gift-giver's inscription under Mr. Capote's autograph on the interior blank page (see our image).
