Russo is an author, screenwriter and film director best known for the 1968 classic horror film Night of the Living Dead (which he was co-author of). As a screenwriter, his other credits include The Majorettes, Midnight, and Santa Claws. The latter two, he also directed. He has performed small roles as an actor, most notably the first ghoul who is stabbed in the head in Night of the Living Dead, as well as cameos in There's Always Vanilla and House of Frankenstein 1997. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 82! Important Added Info: Note that this book has been personally autographed (signed) by John A. Russo!
