An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 33 3/4" x 47 1/4" [86 x 120 cm]) (Learn More)

Das Bad auf der Tenne (literally translates to "The Bathroom on the Tenne"), the 1943 Volker von Collande German life-in-a-17th-century-small-German-town sexploitation comedy (about a woman in a small town who wants to take a bath, but the only place to do so is in the town square, and the townspeople gather around to watch her!) starring Heli Finkenzeller, Will Dohm, Richard Haussler, Gisela von Collande, Marianne Simson, and Paul Henckels. Note that this movie is what we today would call "softcore sexploitation", and was one of Germany's very first color movies, and was a huge success at the box office! It seems extremely odd that it was made during the height of World War II by the Nazis! If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned a single German movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie!). It was printed in Germany during World War II. There are very few German movie posters from during World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. It is likely that German posters from during the Nazi era are even more rare than those from before that era, because most of those that survived the war would have been destroyed right after the war!
