An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Mini Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 8" x 14" [20 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Saratoga, the 1937 Jack Conway New York romantic mismatched couple horse racing sports gambling comedy ("Original Story and Screen play by Anita Loos and Robert Hopkins"; about the daughter of an owner of a horse farm who lost it to a gambler just before he died, and the gambler offers to give her back the farm and forgive the debt, but she insists on repaying it, and even though the two hate each other at first sight, they come to fall in love!) starring Clark Gable, Jean Harlow, Lionel Barrymore, Frank Morgan, Walter Pidgeon, Cliff Edwards, Una Merkel, Hattie McDaniel, and Margaret Hamilton (in an uncredited role). This was Jean Harlow's final movie (she died from kidney failure during the filming, and her last few scenes had to be completed by a stunt double). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. The card has darkened somewhat around the edges. There is surface paper loss in the lower left blank border and tiny paper loss in the right of the bottom border. There is tiny paper loss near the top of the left and right blank borders, where staples were roughly removed.
