Partain, Edwin Neal (as the hitchhiker), Jim Siedow, Gunnar Hansen ("as Leatherface"), William Vail, Teri McMinn, John Larroquette (as the narrator), Allen Danziger, John Dugan, and Ed Guinn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is the original 1974 Bryanston one-sheet for this movie. The movie got a much wider release from New Line Cinema in 1980. Original 1974 Bryanston posters are far more rare than the 1980 New Line Cinema posters! Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its defects were repaired and it now looks nice. From any distance away, you can't see what restoration was done. It may have had only very minor defects, or it may have had more significant defects that were well restored. It is possible that you can see SOME traces of the restoration from a distance, but if so, we clearly note it below. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). There was an additional horizontal fold 1" above the regular middle foldline. There were pinholes around the edges of the image and some wear along the foldlines.
