The Bundespolizei (literally translates to "Federal Police") is a primarily uniformed federal police force in Germany. The Bundespolizei was formerly known as the Bundesgrenzschutz and had a more restricted role. Their current missions include: border security, protection of federal buildings, protection of airports and railways, counter-terrorism, helicopter rescue, and more.

Important Added Info: Note that in 1998 the European Parliament decided that all European police should convert to the color blue for their cars and uniforms since this was already the prevalent color in most European countries. This poster is announcing that change and showing off the new colors!
