An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Great American Broadcast, the 1941 Archie Mayo post-World War I (WWI) radio musical comedy ("There's no stop - no top - no end to the entertainment!"; about the history of commercial radio, beginning with the first attempts to broadcast in 1918 [the actual first broadcasts were in 1921], and there is a fictional storyline to tie it all together, but it is far secondary to the classic clips showing great performers who appeared on radio over the preceding years) starring Alice Faye, John Payne, Jack Oakie, Cesar Romero, Mary Beth Hughes, Nicholas Brothers, Wiere Brothers, and The Four Ink Spots (a black African American musical quartet) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never seen this movie, but this scene shows people wearing celebrity masks (including Ben Bernie, Al Jolson, Rudy Vallee, Bing Crosby, Kate Smith, Eddie Cantor, Ted Lewis, Kay Kyser and Walter Winchell), and they are performing onstage!).
