What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had a diagonal tear running from the top left corner through the middle of the woman's face and running through to her clothing. There was almost no paper loss along that tear. There was also a diagonal tear in the top right corner. The bottom 1/2" of the poster was trimmed off and it appears that the top border was somewhat trimmed. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's many defects, the restorer did a nice job, and it will display pretty well on the new owner's wall, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding.
