Here Comes Elmer, the 1943 Joseph Santley New York City small-town-band-makes-it-big-in-the-city musical comedy ("A scintilating laugh hit!... Crammed with your radio favorites!"; "Laden with rich comedy and rollicking romance... And topped by the clowning antics of funnyman Al Pearce and his famous Gang... Plus the magical music of Maestro Jan Garber's swing band!...") starring Al Pearce (in the title role as "Elmer Blurt", and also in a second role as himself!), Dale Evans, Frank Albertson, Gloria Stuart, Wally Vernon, Thurston Hall, and "featuring Radio's Popular Entertainers" Artie Auerbach ("as Kitzel"), 'Pinky' Tomlin, Wendell Niles, Arlene Harris, The Sportsmen, William Comstock ("as Tizzie Lish"), The King Cole Trio (of course, including Nat 'King' Cole, who did not receive his own billing!) and Jan Garber and his Band
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that Nat 'King' Cole and his King Cole Trio are prominently pictured in the bottom left of the poster! Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: very good.
